| Mellow | Subjective | Patient | Calm | Eloquent |

Despite of his color, Kian has the mind and actions of a gambler, but he is harmless and can maintain a professional appearance to those who respect him. His personality may change within certain situations.

| Mellow || Calm |
He tries not to be involved when something dreadful is happening.

| Subjective |
Kian doesn’t talk as much so he is quiet, yet is talkative in his mind. He stays expressionless to hide what he is thinking about and the thoughts are flashbacks from his gambling days.

| Patient |
Kian is patient with situations that are like games. He finds analyzing things little by little amusing and likes to be detailed with each step.

| Eloquent |
As being subjective, Kian is smart with his vocabulary and he thinks before he speaks.

Kian used to be a boy who would always shared what he had in his mind. He loved having fun with anyone, especially with his parents. He wasn’t interested in meeting people in his neighborhood because he will think it is odd (and besides, they never went out), so his attention was to his parents. His father was the “neighborhood’s engineer” and he spent his time mostly in poker after work hours. His mother worked as a part-time server in a restaurant near their home, but spent the rest of her time strolling downtown to meet new people. His parents lived in an apartment that Kian wasn’t aware of. Pretty much, Kian was lonely and didn’t care if his parents arrived at home to check on him. It became a nuisance to care. After several times that happened, Kian started having a gloomy sensation building up inside him. He lost his happiness and the positivity need of wanting to have fun.
    Kian began changing by doing new things. He didn’t have proper education because his parents wouldn’t pay for him to go to school so he was stuck home studying all day long and taking care of himself. He learned how to cook, wash his own clothes, and even found a way to pay expenses. Since his parents weren’t living with him anyone, he had the freedom to roam the empty streets of his neighborhood to find at least someone that could pay attention to him, but there was nothing. He lurked the streets like a poor beggar and soon spotted a group of people that seemed older than him. He became curious and went to them to see what were they doing. They were gambling. At first, Kian was afraid approaching these people until one of them asked what was wrong with him. Being smart, he kept quiet and ignored him while he jumped in and straightly asked what they were doing. Kian was fond with this kind of “game” and was hooked on it.
Several of years later, Kian gambled for a living. This was a clever way for him to earn money and be able to live well on his own. Ever since he did everything his own way, his life was getting good each year passed. Soon he became the leader of his gambling group and named it the “DarDar Chancers” and went with the nickname K’Dee. Kian’s parents appeared home one day and saw that Kian was missing. They searched everywhere for him and his father found him huddling around unfamiliar guys. His father was furious and dragged Kian back to the house to scold him. His father began questioning him. Kian told him and his mother that it was useless to worry about him since he doesn’t worry about them. Kian vented all of his feelings to his parents on how they weren’t there for him when he needed them, how they ignored him when he wanted to make memories with them, and how they behaved. His father slapped him senseless and tried to tell him the reason why they were gone almost all the time, but he cut him off. His father, being the clueless one, kicked him out of the house and made Kian actually live on his own. He went back to the DarDar Chancers and spoke to them that they were changing locations out of the town.
    Moving into a new town and into a new neighborhood, somewhere within Kian was suffering. He grew quieter each day and spoke for himself instead of speaking for the others. Because from what he is going through now, he started to see his color. One day in the middle of a game, Kian muttered to them if he was worth being in this group. His men were confused with him and questioned him with concern. In reality Kian was the only one having a bad feeling if he continued to gamble. In the next few weeks, he never showed up with his friends. He met up with his best friend and the best player of the group, Olen, behind the balcony of his new house one day to tell him that he is going to quit gambling. Olen took in the surprise and complained how they were going to continue their group without him. Of course Kian felt bad, but he got to do it in order to prevent anything from happening. Without further thought, Kian said he saw a “color” floating in the surrounding of the group. He also said that the “color” colored his eyes and a bit of his hair so he slipped out a mirror to show proof. It was a stupid move because even Olen had no idea what he was talking about and said he was crazy. Kian tried several ways to explain to him but couldn’t come up with anything. After some analyzing, Olen mentioned The Coloured he heard from rumors long ago and suggested him to get checked.
    After a few days, Kian disappeared with that information he shared with his best friend and was sent off to a place called The Facility. Everything was new and different to him that took him a month and a half to get used to somehow, but of course with his patient personality trait, he didn't mind even though he felt a bit scared, he likes exploring new things.

|| E X T R A: ||

➻ He doesn’t have a favorite, but he reads any genre. He sometimes wears glasses as he reads.
➻ He is allergic to mayonnaise. The next day he will become sick.
➻ He is found mostly relaxing against a tree, stroking the grasses.
➻ He doesn’t like to go by the name K’Dee anymore, unless they have a good reason and wouldn’t call him that name just because that person knew he was a gambler.
➻ His new house was bought by Olen for being a great boss of the group.
➻ He is the youngest player of the DarDar Chancers.
➻ He raps when he’s bored.

I can do both Literature/Paragraph and Script; even Lit and Script together. I’m trying out for Literature at the moment so I’d prefer to do that, and I tend to be somewhat detailed c: I also like to role-play in a private manner and I keep a file to save progress. I make myself on 24/7 on Skype, so you can message me anytime. Comments and Chatrooms are less preferred but if you’re comfortable that way, I’m fine with it. Though for chatrooms, I'll try my best to show up everyday. Please note me either way to RP or we head over to Skype and/or such.

Sample Role-play:

Literature/Paragraph.

“I don’t know what is that. Don’t tell me that nonsense! I’m telling you already, man! I’m not crazy! I saw IT.”
“Kian, I seriously do not know what you are talking about.”
“Then what can I do? What do you want me to do? I’ve tried everything…everything…to make you see it. And you’re telling me to go to some place to get tested? What the hell is that?”

I don’t have to worry about everyone else. I bet they are living their lives to the fullest after I’m gone. There is no way they’d be still crying. That is so uncalled for. In fact, foolish. Kian’s mind was full of glimpses of the past, but he was able to return to reality from grasses’ gentle stroking on the side of his hands. He chuckles as he leans against the tree and watches the clouds pass by.

Script.

Kian:

[Flips through the pages of book]

This is really weird.

[Pulls out glasses from the case. Slips glasses on and sets the case aside]

“When I closed my eyes, I could feel the wind’s breeze blowing against my face. I could imagine the leaves’ graceful dancing in the surrounding. It was a very beautiful sight. If only it came out how I expected, but sadly. There isn’t any beauty to it in reality.”

Script + Literature

Kian: *”This color”places both of his hands at the top of his forehead and he lowers his head to the fact that he is having a headache “No, no. I need to read a book in order to think straight.” he then pulls out a pocket-sized book which seemed to be about poems and short stories regarding to experiencing new things in life. “I think I’m crazy reading things like this. Ah, who cares.”*
